In anticipation of the upcoming opening of Hayy Cinema in fall 2022, the three-part installation brings together objects, models and videos, on display to experiment their architectural approach. The installation is based on the body of work produced during the three-year design and research process, focusing on the role of cinema in the social and cultural development of the local community. Two models are interactive, and we invite Hayy Jameel visitors to touch, play and experiment with the pieces and their materiality.
