How we look and see has been a long discourse around art and architecture. The control of seeing, who sees, and what are the devices? In museums, we have always looked at art from a distance. This changed now, as the contemporary condition that exists in museums, is to see arts through machine vision. These devices became the new medium to view arts, which results in the constant production of images while viewing arts. The project is developed in response to Hito Steyerl’s video, How Not To Be Seen, where the building is designed to create architecture that responds to different machine viewing logics such as surveillance systems. The design was developed using Testa & Weiser’s gameboard platform with objects from the existing Pompidou building and Paolozzi’s paintings.
